New advertising campaign: ERGO once again relies on humor


A delightful dentist appointment – made possible by the ERGO dental supplements insurance.

This is the message the current cross-media advertising campaign is communicating. The campaign will run again on TV from now until 15 September 2019, the online and social media campaigns are going live today as well. The spots are supported by Facebook ads, online banners and e-mail campaigns.

As in the campaign for old-age provision, ERGO is once again focusing on humor with its campaign on dental supplements: If the visit to a dentist is a cause for concern for many people, ERGO customers can look forward to full coverage - and that's what they show: With open mouths, the performers "sing" Beethoven's "Ode to Joy", while the only sound that is possible for them to make is the typical "Aaaah".

The campaign highlights the special features of the tariffs: legally insured persons can pick and choose their protection according to their wishes - from basic to premium, from tooth cleaning to implants. It was also important for ERGO that the campaign could be used to advertise different rates. In January, the campaign has already run on the Zahn-Ersatz-Sofort-Tarif. From now on, the campaign will air again - this time with the slogan "Always a reason for joy. With individual protection for your teeth ".

"Another novelty is that the supplementary insurance can not only be completed online, but also in a personal consultation," adds Stefan Fischer, Head of Strategic Marketing & Customer Communications at ERGO Group AG. "In the course of the brand merger in April, we took the pledge to talk to our customers wherever they want to talk to us. We hereby honor this promise".
