We report regularly and in detail about our advances and measures relating to sustainability. We give a clear and transparent account of our corporate responsibility performance in detailed, easy-to-understand key financial, environmental and HR figures, which also serve as a basis for systematic planning of new courses of action in these fields.

ERGO Sustainability Reporting

We make our progress and measures for sustainability transparent. Our Sustainability Reports are based on the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Key financial figures

Consolidated result, premium income or expenses for claims and benefits to customers are some of the key figures recording the development of our business as compared to the previous year. We also show how business was divided across the different lines of Business.

Key employee figures

It is our wish to promote the diversity and the varied potential of the people in our workforce, totalling 38,700 employees and independent sales agents. Ultimately, their expertise and innovative powers make them key drivers for the success of our Business.

Key environmental figures

We have introduced a systematic environmental management system with the aim of consistently reducing our consumption of resources and CO2 emissions. The following key environmental figures refer to the ERGO Group in Germany and abroad.

Our figures for social commitment

Community involvement has a long tradition at ERGO. Within the scope of our shared value approach, we now concentrate on three global challenges which are closely associated with our key business: mitigating the effects of climate change, improving access to healthcare and enhancing risk awareness.
