The Supervisory Board would like to thank him for his achievements and commitment as Chairman of the Board of ERGO International AG.

Markus Rieß, Chairman of the Board of the ERGO Group AG: “We are pleased that we will still have Alexander Ankel at our side. He is a respected and well-connected expert in the international insurance community. He successfully guided implementation of the ESP in the international companies during a phase of cost discipline and optimisation of the international portfolio and in doing so has contributed a great deal to the reorientation of ERGO in recent years. I thank him for our successful cooperation during this period. I am delighted that, in Oliver Willmes, we were able find the right person from within our Group to take over this challenging job.”
