ERGO and Miles & More have entered into a strategic sales and marketing cooperation. The partnership takes effect in March 2021.

With the new cooperation ERGO will become the exclusive partner of the Miles & More awards programme for the sale of insurance products. From March, Miles & More members can earn valuable award miles after buying insurance products and also, for the first time, for insurance consultations. These advice sessions are being offered by selected sales partners across the country. The option of collecting miles when buying insurance products online is planned to be added at a later date.

Jens Parthe, Member of the Board of Management of ERGO Beratung und Vertrieb AG and responsible for cooperation management, is delighted with the new partnership: “We are specifically seeking long-term, strategic partnerships that will enable us to introduce our products to new target groups and generate high-quality leads for our sales force. With Miles & More, we have teamed up with a strong partner who will help us achieve this ambition and further expand our business.”

ERGO will benefit from the new cooperation with Miles & More by gaining access to a discerning, premium-segment target group. Miles & More members receive targeted online and offline communications with specially selected service and product offerings that have the added benefit of allowing members to collect award miles.

For Miles & More, the cooperation offers substantial added value for the programme’s members, as well as access to ERGO’s broad sales network and the insurer’s online sales capabilities.

Armin Czapla, Senior Director Financial Services & Innovations at Miles & More: “We are continuously and consistently expanding the Miles & More programme outside the travel chain. In finance and insurance, we are now complementing our portfolio with ERGO as an exciting new partner. Our Members can thus set up their insurance portfolio professionally and also earn miles in the process. This will make our offer even more attractive in future.”

The Kunstpalast in Düsseldorf is the first art museum in Germany to have a website aimed exclusively at children. Youngsters aged between six and 12 can have fun exploring works of art on the website www.kunstpalast.de/kinder: challenges include pretending to be thieves and running away from the museum guards, playing a memory game against the computer, answering quiz questions and a detective challenge to find details in pictures.
