ERGO Group expands Board of Management


Lena Lindemann takes over Human Resources Germany, Human Resources International and General Services

The Supervisory Board of ERGO Group AG has appointed Dr Lena Lindemann (41) to the company's Board of Management with effect from 1 July 2022. In addition to her role as Labour Director, Dr Lindemann will take over responsibility for Human Resources Germany, Human Resources International and General Services from Dr Ulf Mainzer (56). Dr Mainzer will continue to be responsible for Legal and Data Protection, Purchasing, Compliance as well as the Corporate Office and will focus on the further increasing regulatory and legal requirements. The appointment of Dr Lindemann is subject to approval by the supervisory authorities.

"With Lena Lindemann, we are gaining a recognised expert and valued personality for our Executive Board. She will consistently continue the initiated transformation of the HR department, further advance the development of the employer brand and prepare the company for the further digitalisation of the world of work," said Dr Markus Rieß, Chairman of the Executive Board, explaining the expansion of the Executive Board.

The doctor of law has been with the Group since 2017 and is currently Head of HR Business Management at ERGO Group AG in Düsseldorf. Previously, she worked as a lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP.
