"Since 2016, Mark Klein and his teams have done an excellent job rapidly expanding ERGO's digital expertise and implementing innovative solutions for various segments and countries. Mark Klein has thus made a significant contribution to ERGO's current positioning as one of the leading digital insurers," says Markus Riess, CEO of ERGO Group AG. "By anchoring our digital activities directly within the ERGO Group, we are entering the next phase of our digitalization," adds Riess.

With the establishment of ERGO Digital Ventures AG in 2016, ERGO Group AG consolidated all digitalization activities into a separate insurance holding. Technological changes and innovations could be adopted and implemented rapidly and effectively. The use of digital activities is now sufficiently mature. Therefore, the application of e.g., artificial intelligence and robots is an integral part of our regular business activities.
