The IT functions of Munich Re Group are undergoing parallel transformations in every business field within the Group. While the respective strategies have been managed separately by Reinsurance (incl. MEAG) and ERGO, an increasing number of projects have already been conducted in an integrated manner, bringing all parts of the Group together in one coherently managed approach. “This has successfully shown that the effectiveness of the interlocked business model is also applicable to IT”, underlines Markus Rieß, CEO ERGO Group and Member of the Board of Munich Re.
