Self-evolving AI agents

ERGO Innovation Lab in collaboration with Google Cloud.

Titled “From Tribal Knowledge to Self-Evolving Agents: Capturing, Governing, and Scaling Institutional Knowledge in Financial Enterprises”, this whitepaper shows how insurers can use adaptive AI agents to systematically capture, structure, and unlock hidden experiential knowledge across the organisation. It discusses key challenges, the concept of self-learning agents, and the required foundations in governance, technology, and change management, and introduces a practical framework for agentic maturity. A case study illustrates the first steps from the initial idea to a production-ready agent and presents the results achieved.

From SEO to AI Search Optimization

Männliche Hand auf einer Computermaus

Entitled “From SEO to AI Search Optimization: How Large Language Models Are Redefining Digital Visibility,” this 30-page publication shows how large language models (LLMs) are fundamentally changing users' online search behavior – and what implications this has for the digital visibility of the insurance industry.

The whitepaper is based on an empirical study that evaluated more than 33,000 search results from traditional search engines and AI-based systems. From these results, a relevant selection of more than 600 websites from the German insurance market was analyzed – including websites of primary insurers, insurance brokers, and digital comparison platforms, as well as websites with freely available editorial content focusing on insurance and finance topics. The aim of the analysis was to identify structural and content-related success factors for visibility in LLM-based search systems.
