International Women's Day 2026

International Women's Day 2026

March 8th invites us to celebrate milestones like our successful Gender Ambition 2025 and spotlight ERGO's programs and initiatives that highlight women, empower them, and support them step into leadership roles.

International Women's Day on March 8 is a global symbol for women's rights, gender equality, and fair chances for all. Launched by the United Nations, it reminds us that equality doesn't just happen, it's built through steady societal, political, and business efforts.

At ERGO, it's a time for us to take stock: Where are we now? What have we accomplished? And how can we, as a company, keep driving progress?

Gender Ambition 2025 achieved

Over the past five years, we have pursued a clear objective to sustainably increase the proportion of women in leadership positions across the Group. In 2026, we are pleased to confirm that Gender Ambition 2025 has been successfully met. By the end of 2025, women held 41.9 percent of management roles within the ERGO Group. This milestone shows what strategic goals, real commitment, and a supportive culture can achieve together.
