Together with Ana-Cristina Grohnert, long-standing Chairwoman of the Charter of Diversity Germany, she welcomed 60 HR and diversity representatives from the companies organised in the network on 22 May 2023.

The cross-sector Diversity Network Rhine-Ruhr includes 14 companies that have their main location in the region: DPDHL, E.ON, ERGO, Ford, GEA, Henkel, Hogan Lovells, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, LANXESS, RWE, Telekom, thyssenkrupp, TÜV Rheinland and Vodafone.
Dr. Lena Lindemann praised the intensive exchange within the network: "Diversity and the topic of diversity management derived from it are becoming more and more relevant in increasingly heterogeneous societies and companies. I am personally convinced that we will all succeed in social, political and above all economic change if we live diversity. In our lively network, we as companies continuously learn from and with each other and will continue to do so in the future."

Ana-Cristina Grohnert, Chairwoman of the Charter of Diversity Germany since 2013, pointed out in her keynote speech that diversity is a topic of sustainability: "Diversity is a clear strategic success factor because diversity affects the entire value chain in every company," she said. She presented methods on how the success of diversity is not only visible, but also measurable.

Today, 23 May 2023, German Diversity Day 2023, a networking event will take place with the topic "Psychological Safety and Belonging." Neuroscientist Dr Laura Wünsch will be giving a talk at 10:00 a.m., which can be followed live here:
