Wrapping up World Cleanup Day: Unexpected finds and impressive results 🌍
A wedding ring, a set of dentures and an old guitar are not what you expect to find in the grass of a city park. Yet these were some of the more surprising items ERGO colleagues picked up during World Cleanup Day – alongside the less dramatic, but far more common, cigarette butts, bottle caps and fragments of plastic that quietly accumulate in our shared spaces. 💍😶
This year, more than 5,100 ERGO volunteers in 19 markets joined local clean‑up activities, filling over 2,400 bags of rubbish in parks, on beaches, in city centres and mountain paths. Last week, colleagues from ERGO’s international branches gathered in Madrid for our first “Prompt2Impact – ERGO International AI Hackaprompt”. The aim: to develop AI solutions in cross-border teams and then scale them up.
The event was initiated and sponsored by Dr. Anne Dreller, Dr. Dirk Christoph Schautes and Theo Kokkalas, members of the Executive Board of ERGO International AG. A jury of international CIOs assessed the solutions developed.
We asked Anne Dreller how AI will change the way ERGO International works and how such a “Hackaprompt” can support this. You can find the interview in our magazine //radar: https://lnkd.in/ebpHq8_s
