Veganuary 2024 at ERGO Gourmet

Promoting a healthy and more sustainable diet in everyday working life

Vegan food

This January, our caterer ERGO Gourmet is once again inviting employees to take part in the #VerganuaryWorkplaceChallenge and supporting their decision to integrate more plant-based food into their everyday lives and reduce their consumption of meat. Meat dishes will of course remain on the menu.

From 2 to 31 January 2024, ERGO Gourmet is once again inviting employees to take part in the Veganuary. During this period, all employees are given the opportunity to spend a month focussing on vegan nutrition and trying out a variety of different recipes. The aim of Veganuary is to show that meals without meat and other animal products not only taste good, but also make a contribution to promoting sustainability. The decision to integrate more plant-based food into everyday life and reduce the consumption of meat helps to protect our climate.

In January, ERGO Gourmet will be offering around 50 per cent vegan dishes at all administrative sites in Germany. Meat dishes will of course remain on the menu, as the vegan menu at ERGO Gourmet merely aims to provide incentives without patronising guests in their choice.

Healthy and sustainable nutrition

A balanced nutrition rich in vital elements is important to promote health and fitness. However, especially in a hectic working day, it is often a challenge to realise good intentions when it comes to nutrition. At this point, ERGO Gourmet also offers various campaigns beyond January to raise awareness of health and environment.
