FAQ
You can apply as soon as you see an advert for a training place or dual study programme at ERGO on a training platform or on the ERGO careers page. Simply click on the job title and then on ‘Apply directly’. We look forward to receiving your application.
We do not have any application deadlines that you have to meet. You can apply as long as the job ad is online.
It's easy! Take a look at our career opportunities, get to know the different job profiles and choose your favourite. You don't need to prepare any application documents to get started. Click on ‘Apply directly’ and use the contact form to provide us with your personal details. We need these so that we can email you the link to our application test.
After you have entered your personal details in the contact form, you will shortly receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your details and informing you of how we will handle your data. We will, of course, comply with the data protection guidelines. This will be followed by an e-mail with a link to our application test.
If you are interested in several positions or are flexible enough to work at several locations, we'd love to hear from you! Please feel free to apply for any positions that interest you.
The chances of being taken on at ERGO after successful completion of a training programme or dual studies programme are excellent! We put a lot of effort into training our apprentices and students and are happy when they stay with us after they graduate.
If you have received the email with the link to our application test, you have seven days to take it. We recommend that you plan about an hour for the test. A little tip to help you succeed: In our experience, it is easier to take the test on a laptop or PC than on a smartphone.
No, unfortunately not. Experience has shown that even if you take the test multiple times, the results do not change significantly. Even if you have applied for several positions, only one test is possible.
You need the current version of a common web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge). Activate JavaScript. No permanent cookies are set. You should use an internet connection of at least two MBbit/s downstream. Depending on the type of internet connection, the loading time can vary.
Yes! You can take a break at any time between two test modules and then continue with the test without any problems. However, you cannot take a break within a module, as the test time that has started cannot be interrupted or stopped.
We do. Each test module has a built-in timer that you need to keep an eye on.
That's not a problem. You can simply continue by clicking on your personal link to the application test again. You can then continue from the last completed module.
Yes, you can! But please don't lose sight of the clock while you're doing it.
We will be in touch soon after you submit your test! If you have decided on a sales apprenticeship, we will invite you to an initial official interview. If you have decided on an office-based apprenticeship, you will receive an invitation to an assessment centre. If you do not pass the test, we will be happy to give you tips and feedback if you wish.
The main purpose of the interview is for both parties to get to know each other. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about ERGO, the apprenticeship or the dual study programme. You can also ask anything else that is on your mind. We look forward to your questions. And we will do the same.
If the interview was a good fit for you and us, you have already reached the final step of our application process. At this point, we invite you and other applicants to an assessment centre. In practical exercises, you can now show what you are made of! On the same day, we will let you know whether you have made it and will soon start your training or dual study programme with us.
It is important to us to get to know you as a person with your own personality in the interview and also at the assessment centre. Therefore, you should feel comfortable in your outfit. We have nothing against jeans and trainers, as long as they are clean and have no holes. Later on, during the apprenticeship, when you are with customers, we would like you to dress smartly in a casual manner.
No! A slower internet connection may mean that it takes longer for the individual tasks to load completely. Only then do the tasks start and the available time begin.
Depending on the type of internet connection, the loading time can vary from a few seconds to about two minutes (for analogue connections). The loading progress can be followed on the screen. There are no disadvantages in the tests due to longer loading times.
If you experience technical problems with the application test, it is best to contact EET-Support@ergo.de. We will help you as quickly as possible!
