Notes on the key figures:

We are steadily expanding collection of employee key figures to increase their coverage and improve their significance. The expansion of the data collection has led in part to retroactive changes in the key figures. Due to the increased data quality, some data (e.g. employees according to function) is only comparable to a limited degree with the figures from previous years.

Companies of Munich Health were transferred to ERGO International in 2017. These employee figures are not yet contained in the key employee figures mentioned above. For a comprehensive overview of all employees of Munich Re (Group), please refer to the employee key figures stated on www.munichre.com.
