The ERGO Group AG has been honored as a family-conscious company for the fourth time in a row. The insurer has successfully passed the quality audit berufundfamilie® of the non-profit Hertie Foundation. Franziska Giffey, Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and patron of the audit berufundfamilie®, awarded the certificates yesterday in Berlin, honoring ERGO's family and life-phase-oriented human resources policy.

Diverse offers to reconcile work and family or private lives have been a staple at ERGO for many years. The organisation berufundfamilie® has been checking the quality and scope of these measures for ERGO in Düsseldorf since 2002, and for all other locations since 2009. Family-friendly offers include the conversion of bonus payments into additional days off, extension of parental leave, internal work mentoring programme for employees and the diversity workshop. In Düsseldorf, ERGO is a founding member of the "Father’s Network NRW." ERGO has also been offering all employees flexible working models for many years. "Both employees and employers benefit from our support in reconciling different phases of their lives with the profession and promoting women's career," comments Dagmar Brück, Head of Training at ERGO.
