ERGO Mobility Solutions and NRW-Garage car dealership group launch cooperation

Media Information, 09.05.2019

ERGO Mobility Solutions (EMS), the automotive and mobility arm of the ERGO Group, has launched a cooperation with the Düsseldorf-based car dealership group NRW-Garage to sell car insurance solutions. The three NRW-Garage dealerships (two in Düsseldorf, one in Leverkusen), which are owned by the Emil Frey Group – one of the biggest independent car sales groups in Europe, will be offering ERGO car insurance products for both private and corporate customers. As part of the cooperation, NRW-Garage will be providing fleet services for ERGO employees, continuing a scheme that has successfully run since 2017.

The car insurance range developed jointly by NRW-Garage and ERGO Mobility Solutions is now available to all customers who buy a new or used car. The new product is called NRW-Garage Autoversicherung. Buyers benefit not only from attractive conditions, but also from the fact that the products are supremely fast and easy to buy: a modern IT platform, specially designed for the needs of car dealerships, calculates tailor-made and affordable car insurance for the customer’s Ford vehicle.

Customers have the option of buying the policy when they visit the car dealership, through the website or by telephone from home. An easy-to-use online rate calculator enables the salesperson to prepare a quote within 60 seconds. On top of this, a dedicated ERGO team of experts is available to both the employees of the NRW Garage and its customers to answer any questions they may have concerning car insurance.

“We are greatly looking forward to working with NRW-Garage. Both teams will be collaborating closely to offer excellent customer service at the Düsseldorf and Leverkusen locations in line with NRW-Garage’s performance pledge”, says Karsten Crede, Chairman of the Board of ERGO Mobility Solutions.

“We employ lean, customer-friendly processes to continually optimise and expand our range of financial services and insurance products”, says Christoph Pauli, Managing Director of NRW-Garage. “Together with our partner ERGO, we are committed to constantly working to develop intelligent mobility services and components that fully meet the diverse needs of our customers.”
