Insurance that's entirely digital: nexible launches its motor vehicle product

Press Release, 20.10.2017

The motor vehicle insurance policy from nexible, ERGO’s new entirely digital provider, is coming onto the market: Customers can complete and manage their individual insurance cover policy entirely online. Those interested can calculate the cost of their policy on nexible.de in less than two minutes; customers receive an adjustment quote generally within two hours after placing their digital damage claim. Complex and personal damages are exempt from the digital damage adjustment; they are monitored by experienced experts in damage claims. The insurance cover can be adjusted and cancelled on a month-by-month basis.

nexible customers can choose between a motor vehicle liability insurance, partial insurance or fully comprehensive insurance; with partial cover, you get numerous additional services such as the consequential damages resulting from a short circuit or collisions with all types of animals included in the insurance. Customers can add their free choice of auto workshop and discount protection as building blocks – as well as the gap cover, which, in the case of the total loss of a leased vehicle, closes the gap between the replacement value covered by the comprehensive insurance and the remaining outstanding leasing cost of the vehicle.

Customers can obtain information about the offer from the nexible.de website as well as on the Check24 and Verivox portals and switch to nexible starting already today until the end of the year. They can also contact nexible via online chat.

Customers can report damages to nexible online. Based on this, nexible then determines a repair cost estimate. This allows the customer in many cases to be immediately reimbursed or get their vehicle repaired. Customers are informed about the progress of their claims processing through regular updates.

nexible CEO John-Paul Pieper says: “nexible is the fully digital insurance policy in smartphone format. Fully digital means we’re always available whenever you need us as simple as possible. Our customers benefit from a simple product at an attractive price and a flexible insurance cover that adapts to our customers’ ever-changing life circumstances. Promptly regulating the damages incurred by our customers is especially important to us: Generally, they receive an individual offer within two hours.”

“The launch of nexible under the umbrella of ERGO Digital Ventures demonstrates that we implement new ideas boldly and swiftly. With nexible, we create a comprehensive ERGO motor vehicle product portfolio with an entirely digital offer for cost-conscious customers”, Mark Klein, Chief Digital Officer ERGO Group asserts.

ERGO Digital Ventures AG, as part of ERGO Group AG, is responsible for all digital and direct activities within ERGO Group AG, including the subsidiary ERGO Direkt.
