ERGO Mobility Solutions: Executive Management for the new company has been appointed

On 1 January 2017, the newly established ERGO Mobility Solutions GmbH will start its operations. The company aims to develop strategic international cooperations with the automotive industry and car trade. Philipp Grosse Kleimann, Thorsten Liebert, Michael Müller and Jürgen Thiele will form the Executive Management. They will report to Karsten Crede who will at the same time join the Board of Management at ERGO Digital Ventures AG, the digital business unit of ERGO Insurance Group at Düsseldorf. „We were able to form an excellent team of experienced industry experts in automotive financial services for the Executive Management of ERGO Mobility Solutions“, says Mark Klein, Chief Executive Officer at ERGO Digital Ventures AG.

Philipp Grosse Kleimann (46) will assume responsibility for the Automotive Division within ERGO Mobility Solutions. He has been a Senior Partner at the management consultancy Roland Berger since 2010 where he headed the Global Practice Group „Sales, Marketing and Aftersales“ and was the responsible Co-Lead for „New Mobility“. Before joining Roland Berger, he was in charge of Business Development on the Board of Management at Aston Martin and for twelve years held various management positions at Daimler AG.

Thorsten Liebert (42) will be in charge of the Sales and Business Development Division within the new company. In his last function, he was Chief Sales Officer for the Asia / Pacific region at Allianz Worldwide Partners. Before that, he was responsible for the region Greater China as CEO at Allianz Global Automotive.

Michael Müller (38) will take over responsibility for Strategy, Finance and Processes / IT. Following career stations as business consultant and at Allianz Deutschland AG, he most recently headed the Corporate Development Division at Allianz Global Automotive.

Jürgen Thiele (46) has been with Roland Berger since 2011. He is the responsible Partner for Non-life Insurance Germany and Global Europe, following a career station at the management consultancy A.T. Kearney. At ERGO Mobility Solutions, he will be in charge of Technical Area, Product and Claims.

Automotive financial services continue to gain in importance. Customers expect attractive conditions, efficient services and innovative products in leasing / financing, insurance and mobility services. For automobile manufacturers and insurers, these areas are important means for customer retention and additional profit sources. With ERGO Mobility Solutions GmbH, ERGO will develop this attractive new field of business.
