Changes to the health insurer DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG Board of Management in Cologne: Johannes Lörper (63) will be retiring on 30 September 2016, Sebastian Rapsch (44) will strengthen the Board of Management as from 1 October 2016. To date, Rapsch has been responsible for ERGO Group AG Corporate Development. His successor has not yet been decided. Johannes Lörper has been a member of the DKV Board of Management since 2014. He has also held numerous posts in the ERGO Group since 2002.
The DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG Supervisory Board has appointed Sebastian Rapsch to the Board of Management with effect from 1 October. Rapsch will be responsible for Actuarial Services, Product Management and Benefits Policy
Clemens Muth, member of the Board of Management for the ERGO Group, responsible for Life and Health Insurance, and Chairman of the Board at DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG stated: “Sebastian Rapsch is a proven strategy expert and knows the market exceedingly well. I am delighted that he will be able to put these abilities to the test at DKV.”
Rapsch has been Head of ERGO Group AG Corporate Development since October 2015. He was previously employed at the global management consultants Boston Consulting Group, where he was most recently a Partner and Managing Director.
Johannes Lörper has held various positions within the ERGO Group since 2002 – most recently as a member on the Management Boards of ERGO Lebensversicherung AG, Victoria Lebensversicherung AG and DKV Deutsche Krankenversicherung AG. Lörper will step down from all ERGO posts when he retires. “Johannes Lörper has played a major role in shaping the product policy and strategic direction of ERGO in life insurance over the past years. He has also had numerous mandates in our international companies and in the industry, where he has given valuable and sustainable impetus, and has advocated the interests of ERGO throughout this time. The Board of Management and Supervisory Board would like to thank Johannes Lörper for his service and commitment. We wish him all the best for the future”, said Muth, paying tribute to Lörper.
