ERGO Digital Ventures AG will set up ERGO Mobility Solutions as new business division. It will be managed by Karsten Crede as member of the Management Board of the digital business pillar of ERGO Group AG, Düsseldorf. Subject to approval of the relevant bodies, the 47-year-old will take over the newly established Board Division on 1 January 2017.
Automotive financial services gain more and more in importance. This applies to end customers who expect attractive conditions and efficient service in leasing, financing and insurance as well as to automobile manufacturers and insurers who see automotive financial services as important means for customer retention and as an additional profit source. With the new field of business and a broad range of mobility services for private and corporate customers as well as car dealers, ERGO will position itself as strategic partner of the automobile industry. As a future perspective, new insurance concepts for the growing field of shared mobility shall be offered.
Crede will also be responsible for the development of strategic and international cooperations with the automobile industry and vehicle dealers as well as all new mobility topics such as car sharing and e-mobility.

Crede has been a member of the Management Board of Allianz Versicherungs-AG and CEO of Allianz Global Automotive. Before, he was responsible for global insurance business of Volkswagen Group.
