ERGO gives math students insights into practice

What are the typical tasks of an actuary? What challenges does life insurance face? We, together with students of mathematics, want to work through the answers to these and many other questions. That's why ERGO is organising a workshop on 27 and 28 September 2018 in Hamburg. Those students interested apply to participate before 30 June 2018.

Student workshop on actuarial mathematics

You want to make your career known? Then apply to take part in our workshop! There we’ll introduce you to the tasks and the work environment of an actuary, work through solutions to typical challenges together with you and show you just how agile we are.

  • When: September 27-28, 2018
  • Where: ERGO Head Office in Hamburg, Germany

You are studying (Business) Mathematics on a Bachelor or Masters level, you’re planning your entry into the profession in the next 1.5 years and want to take part? Then apply before June 30, 2018 with a letter of motivation, CV and grade transcripts/certificates/references (in PDF format, max.3 MB) to Workshop-Actuary-Mathematics@ergo.de. We will cover the cost of train and accommodation. The number of participants is limited. There is no entitlement to participate.
