Volvo Car Protection – an app that provides insurance on the road – is the first product

Insurance made simple: motorists can now buy on-demand coverage when driving abroad, for rental cars, luggage or additional drivers in only a few minutes with the new product ‘Volvo Car Protection’. The additional insurance protection can be booked easily and flexibly via the app and is valid instantly. Volvo Car Germany is cooperating with ERGO Group to offer that unique service which underscores the premium brand’s commitment to making individual mobility easier and safer. Volvo Car Protection is now available for the German market.

Volvo Car Germany is cooperating with ERGO Group to offer that unique service which underscores the premium brand’s commitment to making individual mobility easier and safer. Volvo Car Protection is now available for the German market.

The ‘Volvo Car Protection’ insurance coverage offers a choice of tailor-made options with coverage for business or private travel and everyday mobility on demand and with coverage commencing within minutes. The duration of the insurance cover can be selected individually. Insurance coverage starts either immediately or from the date selected. Payment is made in the app with PayPal+, i.e. PayPal, credit card or direct debit. The service is not limited to Volvo customers.

Volvo Car Protection is now available in the Apple App Store. A version for Google Android is planned.
