An exclusive partnership between ERGO and the HypoVereinsbank Group (HVB) in respect of mutual sales concerning banking and insurance products has existed since August 2001. All German insurers within the ERGO Group offer their customers HVB products. On the other hand, the HVB sells insurance products of the ERGO companies to its customers.
This coincides with the customer’s wish of an advisory service which meets their needs and which goes beyond the products of the individual industry. The co-operation with the second largest credit institute in Germany is also to be expanded to include international business and underpins the position of the ERGO Insurance Group as one of the leading European financial service providers.
